Farewell …. kinda

It’s not you … It’s me.

Yes yes, I know. I have been neglecting this Tumblr blog for quite some time. Although I have been linking my Instagram pictures to this blog, it still isn’t sufficient for my readers and well, myself.

Back in 2009 (college freshman), a good friend of mine told me I should make a Tumblr. I had no idea what the fuck it was but I went ahead and made an account. 5 years later, 1,000+ followers, and countless blog posts of love, disappointments and hip-hop debates, I couldn’t have been more thankful for making this blog. Tumblr has introduced me to many great people in the blog-o-sphere and a couple of weird ones lol. It’s amazing what you can be introduced to on the internet (seriously, if it’s available to you, take advantage).

As some of you know, I changed the forecast not too long ago to pursue my dreams. In the midst of it all, I have experienced quite a few, VERY important changes within myself. These changes have led me to leave some things in the past and accept the new, the Now; which has been a beautiful experience. I have ended habits that have held me back and I still have a lot of work to do. This blog means the world to me. A lot has been documented on here and I can’t picture myself ever deleting it. I look back throughout the years and can truly say that I am proud of my growth. But all good things must come to an end …. kinda.

The journey I have embarked on still needs to be documented.. but elsewhere. Living in New York City has sort of forced me to reinvent myself. Other than a handful of people, I don’t know anyone here. Which is pretty cool. Moving to another state gives you the opportunity to start over. & that is what I am doing!

With that being said, I will no longer be blogging on here *tear tear*. I feel as though where I am in life doesn’t match this blog anymore. I will never be ashamed nor do I have any regrets of what I have written. As a blogger, I write with pride and confidence. & I will continue to do that, hoping that one day I can write for XXL or a big time publication. I wanna touch lives, NA MEAN?! Anywho, THANK YOU to the readers who rode along all these years. It means the WORLD to me.

Please stay tuned for the launch of my new blog! xoxoxoxo

NYC x Mars VOL. 2

Today marks 2 months since my move to New York City! Follow me on this journey as I document my thoughts once a month to see how NYC has changed me as a person. I admit the road to success is NOT easy, especially living in the big apple. But I am determined to live up to the cliche saying “If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere”
